I live in these shoes in the warmer months. I have several pair that I wear hiking, biking, kayaking, and just travelling. They're so comfortable and I honestly think they're cute. I normally wear a size 6.5 in street shoe, but I wear a size 6 wide in Chacos because I have a narrow mid but a wide toebox.

Main selling point to any Chacos for my wife and I is the arch support. A lot of sandals on the market are flat and hurt the feet, but not Chacos. Chaco spent time in developing a great, contoured sole to help support a variety of individuals and who doesn't want a pair of sandals they can stand in all day, hike a few miles, paddle, etc.? Love the design and comfort you get in anything with the Chaco name on it.

I replaced my 6 year old chacos with these new mega z clouds when they first came out. I was excited about the thick strap because I remembered my original chacos taking so long to break in. They did not disappoint! These were comfortable straight out of the box, no need to break them in or fiddle with the straps! They feel just as secure as the chacos with a toe strap when hiking. I liked them so much I ordered my mom a pair! She has always hated the feeling of having a strap between her toes. These shoes converted her from a lifetime of Tevas to being a Chaco lover!

I have owned *a lot* of Chacos over the years, and this is hands-down, my favorite style. The thick straps are really soft and comfortable (no need to break them in . - hooray!), and also just make my feet feel secure. Also - they do not feel clunky, which is icing on the cake. I get complements on them often. Will definitely pick up another color in this style. Highly recommend!

Makes a great gift. Here is what my son-in-law had to say about them. The chacos are great shoes! They fit so comfortable and I didn't even have to break them in. I went camping in them and they were the best sandals. Easy to take on and off and great for hiking and walking through water. The sole is pretty thick, but worth it for comfort and durability. I love these sandals and from what I hear, they last forever!

Good looking, high quality sandals as you expect from Chaco. Great for light hiking or walking in rivers/lakes. My only critique is that the big toe strap is a little tight which makes it harder to put on. I imagine that problem will go away once the sandal gets more broken in though.

There's a reason Chacos are so popular. Very comfortable, offer great stability and have that classic look. Great option for everyday use, river trips, light hiking or relaxing in once you're in camp at the end of a long day backpacking. Once you've got the straps adjusted the way you like, they're super easy to take on/off. Definitely worth picking up.

I wasn't sure if a wide would make a difference for me. I took a chance. So far, so good. Still has the nice arch support, sturdy build, while letting me strap my foot in "snug" but giving them room to "take up space". I haven't had chafing problems. I wouldn't say I have super wide feet. Just like a little. Plus with my feet swelling when I get warm, which is most the time, these are great in allowing for that. I wear a 6 or 6.5 in shoes and found that sizing down to the 6, not 7 is what works for my feet. The 7's aren't bad per se, just a tad bit too large.

I recently bought these for the warmer weather seasons. So far I have only worn these around town and I adore them. The thing that I like most about these would be the amazing arch support. I do have wide feet so the extra room is great as well!!

I love Chacos but in the past have made do with a size 8 (too narrow, too long). Glad to find these wide Chacos that fit like a dream and feel like walking on a freaking cloud. Never want to wear another shoe.

I have owned a pair of Z1 sandals for several years and they have held up extremely well. I wear them while hiking, roaming the desert, and when wet wading. I have a pair of Chacos for my little boy, in toddler sizes, and we absolutely love them so I purchased some for my nephew for christmas as well. They are indestructible, which is saying something for kids shoes! They lasted us all last season, and into this next season (we intentionally sized up to fit two summers!) and they still look almost brand new minus some dirt from playing hard. Which is easy to clean, as well! I love Chacos not only for their durability, but the fit they provide is spot on as well. These fit true to size, but the straps are so adjustable, so you truly can dial in the best fit for your exact foot. They are comfortable, easy to walk/hike/run/play in and seriously kid proof. I highly recommend these sandals!

The biggest complaint you'll ever hear about Chacos is that "They just don't fit my foot right" but you need to take the time to adjust them correctly over a couple of days. I love these, so I bought some for my son. He freaked out at first because he couldn't get them comfortable... with a little patience and persistence we got them dialed in now and he absolutely loves them! Chacos are arguably the greatest sandals ever invented. Pick some up if you don't have any yet... and take some time to get to know them. I promise you'll love them if you do!

I got this as a gift for my father-in-law. He is a size 8, and these fit perfectly. He's been really stoked on them. He uses these for everything summer; the boat, light hikes, and taking care of yard work. It was very easy for him to pull the straps to custom fit his foot. Starting with sizing, I wear a 14 in absolutely everything. That being said I am probably more like a 13.5 but nobody makes that size. For chacos I go for a 13, because I hate having extra rubber in front of my foot which just ends up getting caught on everything and tripping me up. These are my second pair, my first being the original chaco, the z2 unaweep. The thinner sole, lighter weight and improved traction are all so amazing. My first pair of chacos took about a month to break in, whereas these felt broken in after the first 100 yards. Long story short, they are super comfortable and are a go to all summer long.

I've been wearing the Z/1 and Z/2s for years now but I decided to give these ones a try. I've worn them for about a week now and they are the best! The sole and straps are more comfortable then my previous chacos, and they have thinner soles so you can feel the ground a little better. So far I'm loving these chacos and I'd highly recommend them!

My in-laws have a couple kayaks that they take out quite frequently. My father in law always wore basic flip flops, but once he flipped his kayak and lost his sandals i knew i had to get him a pair of chacos. these are so comfortable with great support, so he can even hike around in them. hopefully these will last for a long time!

Got this for my dad and he raves about them. He normally wears a 10.5 but i got him a 10 because chaco doesnt do half sizes and its better to have your toes a little closer to the edge with these sandals to avoid too much rubber at the end and having that catch on stuff and cause you to trip. After adjusting the straps to fit his foot, he loves them! Hopefully no socks and sandals....c'mon dad!! ;)

You're not going to win any style points wearing these but your feet will be thankful if you do. After a short break in period I wore these practically every day this summer. Despite what my girlfriend says, these sandals can be worn anywhere: Hiking, boating, even social events. Size down instead of up, and If you have sweaty feet get the version with the toe strap.

Got these for my boyfriend and he loves them. Nice design of straps, is comfortable, as forefoot strap slides in sandal base to snug fit your foot. Heel area of footbed is nicely sculpted to cradle your heel, and tread area is very aggressive for good grip on hard terrain. Way better than Tevas.

I gifted these to my brother and he is obsessed! These sandals do it all! He's been putting them through the wringer on hikes, rafting, and even as his everyday city footwear. They still have miles left on them and plenty of arch support for those with high arches. They are definitely his spring/summer footwear go-tos!

Chacos are the go to for river adventures, but they've grown to be so much more for me. The versatility of this sandal is perfect for every warm day no matter the season. I love the nylon straps once they've broken in after a few uses, they keep you planted on the comfy footbed, they can be tensioned perfectly, and won't break down.
